Some of my favorite things lately...

Hey guys!

As many of you know who follow me on Instagram {@Homebyally} and on FB {click here.} you may know that I am on a mini vacation here in North Carolina! I've really enjoyed just having some down time with family...and enjoying being in my home town and just relaxing really. I do miss my house and blogging and I felt weird today for not posting any blog posts the past week or any new projects! I think I have a problem, eh? I mean really, who's worried about a blog on vacation? Me.

Like I said, if you have been following me on Instagram & Facebook, you might have also seen that I am working on some updates for my mama & daddy's home, mostly just refreshing paint colors and re-accessorizing some rooms. We tackled the kitchen a couple of days ago and we still want to buy a few new accessorises for it. Next up is the powder room and again, the master bedroom! AH!

Tonight I would like to share with you some of my "favorite things" here lately.

Favorite Flowers.
My favorite flowers to decorate with and for landscaping are hydrangeas,
all colors so naturally this photo was amazing.

Favorite front door.
I love the richness of the front door against the white and beige exterior. It's sophisticated yet cozy.

Favorite Home Exterior & porch.
What more could you say about this exterior? It is the pure definition of
southern charm in my eyes and my little dream cottage.

Favorite Bedroom.
I love the simple nature of this room with the rustic bed with the gorgeous antique side tables and natural wood lamps. Just love it all and what a great inspiration for one of our rooms :)

Favorite Nursery.
This nursery is very simple but still pretty. I think they need a few more pop accessories but I like how it is otherwise. Love the grey with the board and batten along with the pop of pink from the curtains & monogram.

Favorite Dining Space.
I am in LOVE with the table and it's color.

And just wanted to let yall know, I am thinking of starting something on Facebook called a "Tagging Tuesday." Silent tagging has all the sudden become very popular, especially on Facebook as a way to grow your business pages' likes. I really don't like to do it every night because I do not want to clog up news feed and then get ignored ;-) So, if you would like to participate, be sure to follow along on Facebook by clicking HERE! and clicking the "like" button. Be sure to then "hover" over the "like" and click "Show in news feed." to be sure that you see all of my posts! Love yall!

Have a great night and don't forget to participate in Tagging Tuesdays at Home by Ally!
XOXO,
Ally

  2. Your blog is so pretty. I am loving all your faves, especially that front door and the hydrangeas. Then I saw you were a military wife and I had to investigate further. THEN I saw that you live in southern North Carolina and I knew I had to follow ya. My sister lives in North Carolina and is married to a retired Marine who was in the service for over thirty years. We are actually heading down there to visit her next week. While we are there we are going to house hunting to possibly move there. I just love it there. Anyways, cant wait to see your future posts and thanks to you and your hubby for all you do!
