Living Room Details

All I see right now over the internet and in stores is FALL decor! And I love it! I love the coziness if that is even a word of Fall. The warm colors, leaves changing... not here in Florida, places starting to get a little more chilly... not here in Florida, just darn coziness everywhere. Love it.

I realized the other day that we  have been living in Florida now for just two months! We JUST hit two months and I feel like it's been longer than that...which I hope is a good thing! We are adjusting wonderfully and the house is slowly coming together. For now, let me show you some sneak peeks. For the record, I don't usually go all out for fall. I just like subtle touches. Christmas is my favorite :D

Here is our small nook table that is currently located in the living room. If I could just talk to someone who built these houses.. it is just the most awkward spot for a small table and a bad use of space. That was my little vent session :-) I snagged the stems from Hobby Lobby for super cheap! The vase is from HomeGoods. Place mats are from Ikea, china and pumpkins are from Target :-) Table is redone by yours truly! If you would like to see the blogpost about the table, click here!

Here's another view of the small nook table currently located in our living room. I just snagged some cheap china on the clearance rack in a lovely fall color and spruced it up with some neat place mats to off set the color. A pretty vase that plays up the contrast of the table and china with some pretty stems in it! I'll be using this vase for all seasons, changing out stems and colors whenever I feel it necessary :-)

This is our semi-entry way. I WISH there were hardwoods running throughout but we rent...and we work with what we have :D I love this new iron gate I just purchased. It is from Ross here in Florida. LOVE. And a steal at only $39.99. Wreath and ribbon are from Hobby Lobby. Picture frame is from HomeGoods. Small pumpkins are from the Dollar Tree while the large pumpkin is from Hobby Lobby. Warmer is from Walmart and tall skinny lamp is from Kirklands. I also made the banner :D The entryway table I purchased in North Dakota while we were there. I LOVE it. It's actually a darker, more sage green than this in person. Bummer. Guess y'all will have to come over ;)

I love these fat candles. They are sitting on my coffee table (Ikea) along with a pretty picture frame from HomeGoods. The candles are also from HomeGoods. The cream candle holders are from Target. I'm a lover of bargains, what can I say? I tied the string around the candle holders and the actual candles came with it. Isn't that little owl cute? Love it.

Here's a picture with the picture frame. Love it. I'm currently working on building a custom stained bin almost the length of the coffee table that will just simply slide right underneath for storage for magazines, books, remotes, dog toys, etc. Should I do a tutorial? Let me know :-)
