House Plans: Break down of the plans for each room in our new home

So, if you're anything like me, you have a 1,000,000 things running through your head everyday. You get inspired over the smallest of things and then want to do every project in your house exactly at the same time with no budget but lots of enthusiasm? Did I nail it?

Something that always helps me sort through my crazy ideas, mind racing, non-organized brain is to write things down. I make a TON of lists. So, why not share them with y'all?

Our home is a 1957 mid-century beach side "cottage." Our home features cove ceilings, hardwood floors and the most gorgeous sunroom or Florida room if you live down here. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and is just the cutest thing you ever did see. Well, in my head it was. The folks before us here did a great job of staging the home with traditional decor…and paint colors but I didn't really pay much attention to their decorating because it wasn't mine. I looked at the bones. Coved ceilings equals instant character. Hardwood floors equals more character. The bones, I could work with. So let's get started…Everything that has a line through it has been accomplished! If you would like to read the original post on our new house, just click here.

  1. I love what you did with the exterior of the house! I bet it looks even more beautiful on a sunny day. I agree with the white kitchen :)

I can't wait to see what you do with the house! it's adorable as is, but I'm sure it will be stunning when you decorate it!

  2. One of the things that you should have in order to keep your home safe is to secure that the passages such as the doors and the windows are secure. You can have custom home shutters for you windows. It is a protection against the heat, outside debris and direct breaking in to the hose by the window.
